High rental tariff at Vibrant Gujarat rubs corporate groups the wrong way

Some leading corporate houses have taken strong exception to the exorbitant tariff fixed by the state government for setting up exhibition stalls at the Science City near Ahmedabad, during the fourth Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors' Summit on January 12-13. The Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), which has been entrusted with the task of booking as many as 120 exhibition stalls, has fixed the rental charges for each of the stalls between Rs 2.5 lakh and 20 lakh, based on their size.
